The first time I came across a hybrid Adsense text and link ad was when Abe mentioned it on his blog. I didn’t even know that something like this existed even if it’s not a regular Adsense format. Later that day, I spotted it on my blog and took a screenshot of it.
Here’s how it looks like:
So far, I’ve only seen it once on my blog. I’m sure it wasn’t the first time it showed up on my blog, I just missed it. How about you guys? Have you seen something like this on your blog or someone else’s blog? For an explanation on how this type of Adsense ad works, read Abe’s post.
@SEOBloggers – Thanks for the compliment and for subscribing! Have a nice day! :)
Nice post….like it and am subscribing to your blog. Thanks
@P.I.N.O.Y.U.N.I.T.E.D – I knew about this from Yugatech’s post then one day I saw it appear here so I immediately took a screenshot and posted about it. Thanks! :D
i’m not aware of this actually. well spotted then jaypee.
@jhay – Yeah, that’s true. It just shows that the Adsense bots aren’t perfect.t But if it occurs often and has a high CTR then I’d be more than happy to see it on my blog. :D
Saw some of this kind of ads on my blog a few days ago, nothing special I guess.
@James – Oh yeah, now I remember seeing something like that one you mentioned, the banner image ad with link ads at the bottom but I wasn’t able to take a screenshot of it. Yeah, take a screenshot and share it with us. :)
I’ve had that hybrid Adsense text + ad links unit in my blog for some months now. Variations of that include the ad links on top of the text unit and a banner image ad with the ad links at the bottom. Once I spot these again, I’ll get a screenshot.
