Unboxing the FlexiSpot EG1W-40 Adjustable Standing Desk
Hey there! I know it’s been a while since I did an unboxing post here and today we’re going to do one. About a month ago, I was contacted by one of FlexiSpot’s media outreach specialists who asked me if I wanted to feature and review one of their ergonomic standing desks. Of course, I happily obliged.
The product that we’re going to feature today in this unboxing post is an adjustable standing desk that was sent over by the folks at FlexiSpot. To be exact, the model that I received was the FlexiSpot EG1W-40 which features a maple desktop and a white frame.
I received the package a couple of weeks back but I was quite busy so I wasn’t able to unbox it until late last week. Before we proceed with the unboxing photos and experience, I’m going to share with you the product specifications.

The first step in the assembly. Make sure to check/read the instruction manual provided.

The package doesn’t include a screwdriver so make sure you have one ready.
Make sure you place the Adapter Holder on the Crossbeam before you secure the frame to the desktop.

INITIAL IMPRESSIONS
The FlexiSpot EG1W-40 is an ergonomic workstation that features a minimalistic design but is very sturdy and also very easy to assemble. It took me less than 15 minutes to assemble the whole thing. It features a 2-button controller to allow easy operation of desk height adjustment and it also comes with dual cable management holes to help keep your workspace neat and organized.
