Vacation Officially Over

Plane Wing

Hello World! I’m back. So where have I been and what have I been up to? Like I mentioned in the previous edition of the Weekend Roundup, my family and I went on a vacation. The first stop was Atlanta, Georgia where we spent 4 days to attend our church’s world meeting. Unfortunately, because of the busy schedule and the short time we had, we weren’t able to see places like the Georgia Aquarium, The Children’s Musem, World of Coca-Cola and we also didn’t get to go to the world’s largest drive-in restaurant called The Varsity. But nevertheless, it was a fun and unforgettable experience. We were able to meet lots of friends whom we haven’t seen in a long time.

From Atlanta, we drove for about 12 hours passing through South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia before reaching Maryland where we spent the next 4 days with my in-laws. When we got back to California, we spent the last few days with my parents before they went back home to the Philippines (took them to the airport last night).

As much as I wanted to post updates during the trip, I wasn’t able to because of Internet connection problems in Atlanta plus I didn’t have that much time because we were so busy going to and fro the exhibits and programs, meeting friends, eating out and going places like Arundel Mills Mall and the National Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C.

I tried to take as many pictures as I can but it’s hard to do it when you don’t have much time because you’re always on the go and you have to keep an eye on a very active 3-year-old son. Anyways, I’d like to share with you some of the pictures that I took during our trip.

  1. It’s good to have you back online dude! Glad that you had fun during the vacation.

I remember visiting the Air and Space History Museum when it was mounted here in the Philippines. Two of my friends obsessed over taking home the a piece of moon rock!

  2. That's one adventure of a lifetime! Woot! Do you do this quite often?

I wonder when I'll get to be in the middle of one.
