The folks from Quntis have sent me another one of their products for review, this time it’s the Quntis 20w Dual Port Fast Charger.
This is going to be the third Quntis product that I’ll be reviewing here on JaypeeOnline. The first one was the iPhone Faster Charger, and the second one was the e-Reading LED Task Lamp.
Although this product was designed primarily for iOS devices with Lightning ports and comes with a 6ft USB-C to Lighting Cable like the iPhone Fast Charger, it is a dual-port charger so aside from the iPhone and iPad Mini, I will also be using my Samsung Galaxy A50 and Samsung Galaxy S20 FE to test it.

INITIAL IMPRESSIONS
DESIGN & BUILD QUALITY
I will not be spending a lot of time discussing the design and build quality of the 20w Dual Port Fast Charger because it is exactly the same as the iPhone Fast Charger. The two products look the same and have the same size and shape. If you don’t see the side with the USB ports, you won’t know the difference because the only thing that sets them apart is the QC 3.0 USB A Port.

COMPATIBILITY & PERFORMANCE
Using the included 6ft USB C to Lightning cable, the PD 3.0 USB C port can charge an iPhone 13 from 0% to 50% in 30 minutes which is 2.5X faster than the original 5W charger. It is compatible with all iOS devices with a lightning port. Earlier models like the iPhone 7 will charge at the normal charging speed.
This product is MFi Certified and uses the original C94 connector so you can be assured that it will be 100% compatible with any iOS device and it won’t display the “Accessory Not Supported” message.
If you do a lot of traveling, you can bring this charger with you and won’t have to worry about voltage compatibility because it meets the charging voltage of various countries (110v minimum and 220v maximum).
Aside from that, this product also has a built-in Weltrend chipset and protection resistor that automatically identifies and matches the best suitable charging speed required by the charging device. Because of that, you don’t have to worry about over-current, over-voltage, and overload that may cause damage to your device.
NOTE: When both ports are used simultaneously, the maximum charging power of each port is 8W.
As I mentioned earlier, I used an iPhone, iPad Mini, Samsung Galaxy A50, and Samsung Galaxy S20 FE for testing purposes. Based on the multiple tests that I made with the mentioned devices, the 20W Dual Port Faster Charger performed accordingly.
AFFORDABILITY
By default, new iPhones come with only a 5W adapter. If you need or want a powerful charger from Apple, you’ll have to spend at least $40 because they sell the power adapter and cables separately. A 20W power adapter goes for $19 and the USB-C Lightning cables cost $19 (1-meter) and $35 (2-meters) each.
You do the math and it’s a no-brainer. If you’re concerned about the quality, based on my experience with the iPhone Fast Charger, the adapter and cable are better and more durable than the ones made by Apple.

FINAL TAKE
I’ve only had the Quntis 20W Dual Port Fast Charger for about a week now and based on my experience, it has performed well and met my expectations. I expected it to perform and work well based on my experience with the Quntis iPhone Faster Charger and the e-Reading LED Task Lamp and I was not disappointed.
Although this product was provided by Quntis, this is an honest review, not a paid review. With that said, I recommend this product without any hesitation or reservation because I have tried it for myself and I know for a fact that it is a good quality product and performs as advertised.
The Quntis 20W Dual Port Fast Charger is a good and affordable option if you’re looking for a replacement charger or a more powerful charger for your iPhone or iPad. This also makes for a nice gift for your family and friends.
IMHO, this product is also a more practical option than the iPhone Fast Charger because it lets you charge 2 devices at the same time. With the additional USB A QC 3.0 port, you are not limited to charging iOS devices and you can use it for other electronic devices that have USB charging capability.
