Google is known for celebrating special events like holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Veterans Day), birthdays of famous people (Albert Einstein, Nikola Tesla), and major events (World Cup, Olympics) with their specially designed homepage logos, better known as Google Doodles.
For this year’s Valentine’s Day, Google has created a special 71-second animated Doodle which tells the story of a boy’s attempts on wooing his crush. If you haven’t seen it yet, you can click and watch the YouTube video below.
The Valentine’s Day Google Doodle features the song “Cold, Cold Heart” performed by Tony Bennett. I think that this year’s Doodle is the best Valentine’s Day themed Google Doodle ever.
Btw, Google has something special for all you lovestruck math geeks out there. Copy and paste the algebraic equation below on Google Search and hit Enter.
sqrt(cos(x))*cos(300x)+sqrt(abs(x))-0.7)*(4-x*x)^0.01, sqrt(6-x^2), -sqrt(6-x^2) from -4.5 to 4.5
What do you guys think of this year’s Google Valentine’s Day Doodle? Please share your thoughts.
