I know a lot of people are uber excited and can’t wait to get their hands on the Apple iPhone. Only a few people have had the privilege of having the iPhone in their hands even for just a few minutes.
For the majority who have seen it only from pictures and clips, I’m sure you’re curious and you’d want a glimpse of the iPhone and/or it’s features.
With it’s price tag, most of us …

Just a few hours ago, Steve Jobs announced four new products at the MacWorld 2007. The most awaited one of course is the Apple iPhone.
The Apple iPhone is a combination of a mobile phone, a touch control iPod and an Internet communication device that has web browsing & email capabilities and more. The Apple iPhone has no buttons, only a multi-touch screen.
I’m definitely adding this to my wishlist!…

Leading off with a stupid quote from President Bush might seem a little too easy, perhaps unfair, a bit like stealing candy from a blind kid or something. But in a year chockablock with moronic quips, obtuse observations and mind-boggling inanities, you still have to put Dubya front and center. He is, after all, the most powerful man in the world.
“One of the things I’ve learned on the Google is to pull up …

This is an update to an earlier post about the missing James Kim, senior editor of CNET.
In a press conference yesterday, police authorities report that they have found James Kim. However, it was too late. What the search and rescue workers found was his lifeless body.
It was 11 days after they first made the mistake of taking Bear Camp Road after missing a freeway turnoff on the way to Highway 42. This …

CNET senior editor James Kim is still missing. He and his family were last seen on November 25th. They were on vacation and drove up to the great Pacific Northwest. They were driving a 2005 silver Saab station wagon with California personalized plates of “DOESF.”
UPDATE:
Just today, his wife Kati and two daughters were found alive and well in Southwest Oregon.
If you’re into gadgets and technology, I’m sure that you know or …

This is a joke that was posted in my webhost’s forum. I thought it was funny so I’m sharing it with you guys.
Junior asks his dad, “Daddy, how was I born?”
His dad sighs and replies, “Ah, my son, I guess one day you would have to find out anyway!
Well, you see your Mom and I first got together in a chat room on
“Yahoo”.
Then I set up a date via e-mail with your Mom and we …

Coming to a store near you.
This photo of a Sony PS3 kiosk was taken in a Tokyo retail store. This thing is huge! It certainly makes the X-box 360 kiosk small. Unfortunately, despite of the 4 hi-def Bravia displays, this PS3 kiosk only displays video and does not let you play any video game. Sucks huh? Hehe.
The Sony PS3 is scheduled for retail to the US market in …

Here’s a new bandwidth test site that comes from the same company that created SpeakEasy.
Speedtest allows the user to select a server (nearest to your location) to ping from, in several locations in North America, Europe and Australia. This new speed test graphically displays the connections in an interactive map. You can also change the settings for your connection results. You can sort by date, download, upload or server; you …

Just recently I posted an entry about John C. Dvorak’s prediction that Apple will drop OS X and go for Windows. Many people think this is impossible, while there are others who think it could happen.
Earlier today, I read an entry by Rob Hyndman that talks about Dvorak’s prediction and includes his own opinions as to why those predictions were wrong.
John C. Dvorak’s recent column in PC Magazine speculating that Apple …

Fuel Cells
In fuel cells, the energy of a reaction between a fuel, such as liquid hydrogen, and an oxidant, such as liquid oxygen, is converted into electrical energy. Fuel cells will change the global economy, and not just because they will be as big a development in motoring as the internal-combustion engine was. They will also be used as cell-phone batteries and power generators, among other things. And they will eliminate the problem of what …

Read this one from PCMag.com. It talks about John C. Dvorak’s prediction that Apple will drop OS X and concentrate on becoming a hardware vendor and ship products running on Windows systems. Quite unbelievable, but he has raised some interesting points.
