WordPress 3.5 Beta 3 Now Available for Download/Testing

WordPress

The stable version of WordPress 3.5 is almost ready to be released to the public. Before the public gets a hand on it, everything has to be working smoothly and all bugs have to be fixed so the third beta version was released yesterday and is now available for download and testing.

As with previous versions, WordPress plugin and theme developers are encouraged to test out their plugins/themes with WordPress 3.5 Beta 3 to make sure that they work once the stable version is released. Like any other beta release, this version of the software is intended for testing purposes so users are advised not to use/install it on a live or production site but rather install and try it out on a test site or sandbox.

To download and test WordPress 3.5 Beta 3, check out the WordPress Beta Tester plugin or download the beta zip file. To find out and learn more about WordPress 3.5 and its upcoming new features, check out the Beta 1 blog post.

For those of you who find any bugs while testing Beta 3, please post your findings to the Alpha/Beta section of the WordPress support forums or submit a bug report on the WordPress Trac (which also contains a list of known bugs and fixes). WPMU DEV also offers a support forum for WordPress questions.

Anyone looking forward to WordPress 3.5? Anybody here tried the beta releases? Please share your thoughts.
