iThemes: Premium WordPress Themes

iThemes Premium WordPress Themes

My friend Brian Gardner one of the most popular WordPress theme designers around and author of the popular Revolution Premium WordPress themes together with Corey Miller, a journalist and web designer who himself has released more than 30 free WordPress themes recently launched iThemes, a premium WordPress themes site.

Here’s what they have to say about their new project and why they started it:

iThemes Media LLC seeks to offer the best-quality, premium WordPress themes for small businesses and bloggers.

Simply put, we love WordPress, the open source software that runs our designs. We believe WordPress is an outstanding content management system that can both put your business on the Web map … and help you easily maintain your blog and websites.

For the launch, they’ve released their first theme series called Essence which is designed to give small business websites a elegant and refined look. Basic features for each theme in this series include a static home page, 7 page layouts, 5 separate sidebar widgets, blog templates and text/graphic header options .

The Single-Use Package is only $99.95, while a Multiple-Use Package is available for $249.95.

Aside from these themes, iThemes also provides add on services like installation and optimization, 1 hour customization and custom web design. To add to all that, I just found out that they also have several free WordPress video tutorials. Which I’m sure many WordPress users would find very helpful and useful. Great job guys and all the best!

  1. @K – Tempted to use it on your blog? Why not? If you can buy a Mac and iPhone I’m sure you can afford a premium WordPress theme! :D

If you buy the theme, it doesn’t include the customization and optimization. Those are add-on services which you have to pay for. Brian Gardner has many big time clients like the Blog Herald. I’m not sure about the discount, but I’ll see what I can do.

About the header image, just let me know what type you want for your blog and I’ll start making one for you. Just don’t expect something very fancy coz as I said earlier, I’m not a graphic artist. ;)

  2. Very very tempting… I kinda dig the last two since I love home designs and stuff like “white and green” for ‘recycling’ images, quite a choice to own. You mean, just pay the fee and they’ll do all the work and customization?

Bloody beautiful. BG definately got a taste in minimalist/magazine designs. Since he is your ‘friend’, can we get a discount for promoting these themes to us?

As for the image header, I don’t know how to use an Adobe program albeit interesting to learn, I know for the fact that you’re indeed a kind-hearted person, perhaps making one for me won’t bother the hassle, right? Thanks in advance, jaypee.

  3. @jhay – The market for premium WordPress themes is getting bigger and nowadays, bloggers are not the only ones using WordPress but also small businesses and other organizations who use it as a CMS. :)
