GoDaddy $7.99 .COM Domains Special Offer

GoDaddy .COM Blowout

As a domain registrar, I can strongly recommend GoDaddy to anyone, family and friends included. I registered the JaypeeOnline.net domain with GoDaddy on June 30, 2006 and I’ve had it with them eversince. I’ve also purchased a few other domains through the years, all of them on GoDaddy and I haven’t had a single issue or problem with any of my domains.

Got an email from GoDaddy earlier today about their $7.99 .COM domains* special offer and wanted to share it with you folks.

If you’re looking to buy a new domain from GoDaddy or just simply want to renew existing ones, then now is the right time to do it and take advantage of this special offer. The regular price to register or renew a .COM domain would cost $11.99/year so with this offer, you’d save 30% off the list price which is $4/domain. That isn’t much if you only have one domain but that is a lot of savings if you have a several domains.

Btw, for those who are new to GoDaddy and are planning to purchase a domain name from them, take note that aside from the domain name you also get $100 worth of free tools like 5-page website with hosting, personalized email, online photo album, blog & podcasting tool, starter web page, “for sale” page, domain forwarding & masking, domain locking, total DNS control, change of registration and status alerts, just to name a few.

Interested? Better hurry up because the $7.99 .COM domains* special offer is only good until November 14, 2010. To avail of this offer, you don’t need any GoDaddy coupon codes. Just register or renew a .COM domain and your discount will be applied on the shopping cart.

What are you waiting for? Take advantage of this special offer and save money on your domain registration and renewals. Find or renew your domain now from GoDaddy.com

*Plus ICANN fee of 18 cents per domain year. New or renewal .COM purchases only. Discount applies to new registrations and renewals and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount or promotion, including sale pricing or bulk discounts.

  1. @sylv3rblade – I’m familiar with that incident because I regularly read David’s blog. However, that happened because his Gmail account was hacked and was used to transfer his domain. It wasn’t GoDaddy’s fault.

  2. @sylv3rblade – I’ve had all my domains on GoDaddy the last 5 years and my experience has been great. People I know who have registered their domains with GoDaddy also have the same thing to say.

Like with webhosting, there’s isn’t a perfect domain registrar but many of the horror stories I checked about GoDaddy weren’t true or properly substantiated.

  3. @ Jaypee: Yep, I restarted the renewal process at least three times to see if the discount would appear in the final page before I pay for the renewal. But I still did not get any discount. :(

  4. @Jhay – Really? How far did you go through the registration/renewal process? It says that the discount will show up on the shopping cart. I’m guessing that it would be on the final stage just before you do your purchase.

  5. @Madav – You’re welcome! This is a GoDaddy special offer so this would only work there. I haven’t tried Domain.com so I can’t really say but like what I mentioned in the post, I recommend GoDaddy because I have my domains with them and never had any problems.
