I received an email about a week ago from a representative of a company named Quntis, asking me if I could review their products. I happily obliged and today, I’m going to share with you my hands-on review (product photos, product specifications, and initial impressions) of the Quntis iPhone Fast Charger.
For this review and for testing purposes, I used my wife’s iPhone 11 which is perfect because the model supports fast charging. Before we proceed with the review, here are some of the basic product features and specifications.

INITIAL IMPRESSIONS
PACKAGING
This is my first time to come across the Quntis brand and I’m very impressed with their product packaging. The box for the PD Fast Charger and Cable is well designed and contains all the basic and necessary information. The quality of the packaging is the same as some of the popular brands like Anker and Belkin.
DESIGN & BUILD QUALITY
Just like its packaging, the design and build quality of the Quntis iPhone PD Fast Charger and the USB C cable are also excellent. The products are built from good quality materials and they don’t feel cheap or flimsy. I know it’s too early to tell but based on what I’ve seen and how the materials feel like, it seems to me that it is more durable and would last longer than the ones made by Apple.
The product is also MFi certified, ETL & FCC certified which means that the product has built-in features that provide total protection and protects the system against short-circuit, over-temperature, over-current, and over-voltage.
COMPATIBILITY
The Quntis iPhone Fast Charger is built and designed specifically for iPhone models that support fast charging: iPhone SE 2020, 8, 8 Plus, X, XR, XS, XS Max, 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max, 12 Mini, 12, 12 Pro, 12 Pro Max.
It also works with recent iPad models like the iPad Mini 5 7.9″, iPad Air 3 10.5″, iPad Pro 10.5″, iPad Pro 11″ and iPad Pro 12.9″ (2018).
You can also use this charger for iPhone models that don’t support fast charging and the device will be charged at the original charging speed. Aside from the iPhone, you can also use the Quntis iPhone Fast Charger for Android smartphones that support PD technology but you’ll have to use a different cable, a USB-C to USB-C cable to be exact.
PERFORMANCE
Based on some tests and personal use, the Quntis iPhone Fast Charger delivers according to its features and specifications. Fast charging works, plugged in the iPhone with 43% battery and after 30 minutes, it was up to 78%.
Please note that when the charging exceeds 60%, the charging speed will slow down and this is normal due to the automatic protection function of the iPhone.

AFFORDABILITY
Most iPhone models these days (iPhone 8 and above) support fast charging but when you purchase an iPhone, Apple only provides you with a 5W power adapter. To be able to make use of the fast charging capability, you will have to purchase a different power adapter. Apple sells a 20W power adapter for $19 and it doesn’t include the charging cable. Apple sells a 1-meter USB-C to Lightning cable for $19 and a 2-meter version for $35. You’ll have to spend at least $40 for that.
Save your money and get the Quntis iPhone Fast Charger instead. It only costs US$23.99 and it already includes the 18W PD Fast Charger and a 6-feet (1.8 meters) USB-C to Lightning cable. Just for the USB-C to Lightning cable alone, you’re already getting a very good deal.

CONCLUSION
Based on my personal experience testing and using the Quntis iPhone Fast Charger, I have no hesitation in strongly recommending it for all iPhone users. In my opinion, this is easily one of the best “bang for the buck” accessory that any iPhone user needs to have or purchase.
