UPDATE: Just a few minutes after I published this post, I found out that the official website of the Philippine Blog Awards has published the complete list of winners. I’ve updated this post and added the missing names and links.
The 2009 Philippine Blog Awards night was held last Friday, October 9th at the PETA-PHINMA Theater in Quezon City, Philippines. From what I’ve read and heard from other bloggers, it was a successful event. I really wish I was there to attend it. I woke up at around 3 AM (US Pacific Time) which was 6 PM Manila Time and tried to catch the live stream via Flippish.com. The event didn’t exactly on time and I was starting to get sleepy so I decided to go back to bed. I woke up about 2 hours later and tried to check if the program was still on-going. When I got back online, they were giving the award for the Best Business Blog award. After a few more awards, I got sleepy again so I went back to sleep. Anyways, congratulations to all the finalists and winners of the different awards! I’d also like to congratulate the organizers and sponsors for the success of this event.

I watched the full coverage via recorded videos uploaded by Flippish.com and my most favorite part of the event was the KKK-themed silent movie by When in Manila. Based on the live stream video, I can tell that everyone in the audience loved it from the amount of laughter and applause.
