Filipino Blogosphere & Political Participation Forum

Got word from my online buddy Jhay Rocas about an upcoming forum entitled “The Filipino Blogosphere: Political Expression, Communication, and Participation“. The forum will be about the results of a recent study* made by Ms. Mary Grace Mirandilla-Santos an independent ICT/Telecom researcher on A-list Filipino political bloggers and their readers: motivation, political attitude and modes of political participation.

The “The Filipino Blogosphere: Political Expression, Communication, and Participation” forum will be held at the Case Room, G/F of the National College of Public Administration and Governance (NCPAG) building, University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City this coming Saturday – February 26, 2011 at 10:00 AM.

Aside from the main forum, there will also be a discussion on related topics like Blogging and the Filipino identity, Political expression and Communication, and Journalism. Other speakers include Dr. Erwin Alampay, Prof. Danilo Arao, Ms. Stephanie Rabia, and Mr. Juned Sunido.
