Elegant Themes

One of the best places to look for beautiful and affordable premium WordPress themes is Elegant Themes. Unlike most sites who sell premium themes individually, Elegant Themes offers an annual theme club membership. For only $19.95 per year, registered users get unlimited access to all premium WordPress themes. Elegant Themes is one of my favorite sites not only because they’ve been a gracious sponsor of JaypeeOnline the past couple of years, but also because of the quality of their premium WordPress themes, which are easily some of the best in the business.

Elegant Themes recently released two very nice WordPress themes which I’m sharing with you today. The first one is called the Deviant WordPress Theme, a 2 column, fun and in-your-face designed theme that features bold titles, a grungy background, 6 color schemes, an ePanel theme options page and custom widgets.

  1. @Michael – Yeah, these themes are more geared towards personal blogs but I’m sure it would fit some blogs with a specific niche like maybe design or arts & crafts like you mentioned.

  2. @Kenneth – The theme you’re using on your blog is very nice as well and its free. I usually blog and review themes released by Smashing Magazine but missed this one because I was on hiatus at that time. :P

  3. @Photoblogger – Do you have an Elegant Themes account? Anyways, Elegant Themes did pause for a while and didn’t release any new themes. I’m glad that they’ve been releasing very nice themes recently. :D

  4. @Latief – Nice. You should take advantage of that opportunity, use your account and download their themes. If you don’t use it now, you can probably use them later for your blog or other blogs you might have. :)

Btw, I still haven’t received the 125×125 banner that you’re supposed to send me.

  5. @Kimwell – I know how it is. I’m also very picky when it comes to choosing a theme for my blog. I think what you mean is that their themes are heavy on graphics and are targeted for users who prefer eye candy designs, not those who are into simple and minimalistic designs. :)

  6. @Gem – Yeah, I agree. Their last batch of themes are the best ones so far. With that kind of development, we can expect better themes to come from Elegant Themes.

Same here, I like the Deviant theme. :D

  7. I never fancied themes by them, it’s not that they’re bad or ugly themes, I just find paid much attention to their offerings.

A second look would probably change my mind. As “On the Go WP Theme” is a great design.

  8. I love Elegant themes, however, It seems that I cannot really find the theme that I want. But I love the design and feel of their themes. They were right in their name. Indeed their themes are elegant..I just noticed that their themes are targeted towards designers and the like But maybe its just me. :)

  9. Like Jhay I wasn't wowed when I had first seen their first batch of themes. But this two themes are different – I think their themes rock this time – way to keep up business for them!

    I prefer the deviant one!
