Quick note for all WordPress users waiting for the update to the WordPress for iOS 2.6. The WordPress dev team released WordPress for iOS version 2.6.1, which addresses a lot of issues/problems that the previous version had.
We are very pleased to announce that WordPress for iOS Version 2.6.1 is now available in the App Store. This release addresses issues many of our users reported with Version 2.6.
Like always, we owe a great deal of thanks and credit to the WordPress community for providing us with such amazing feedback. Your comments, forum posts, and tickets helped us address the issues as quickly as possible. Without your help, this update would likely have been delayed another week as we worked to track down and reproduce the issues.
For those users who frequently post/upload videos from their iOS devices, please take note that if your blog is running on WordPress 2.9.2 or later versions, make sure that you add the following lines to your root .htaccess file:

php_value upload_max_filesize 128M
php_value post_max_size 128M
php_value max_execution_time 120

WordPress for iOS 2.6.1 is now available in the App Store. I’ve already upgraded to this version and it works. Now I can use the WordPress app again on my iPhone.
