ThemeForest, one of the biggest marketplace for premium themes recently passed 1,000 themes in its WordPress library. To celebrate this milestone, Envato the company behind ThemeForest commissioned icon designers SoftFacade and Turbomilk to create WordPress-themed icon sets and released it to the public for FREE.

Passing 1000 WordPress themes is a huge milestone for the ThemeForest community and we wanted to celebrate it in style. We’re very excited to be releasing these fantastic icon sets from SoftFacade and Turbomilk and hope they are useful to designers and developers everywhere!
Here’s the preview of the two WordPress-themed icon sets:
Head on over to the official page – 1,000 WP Themes to download the icon sets. You can also cast your vote on who you think is the best icon set – SoftFacade or Turbomilk. Like WordPress, the icon sets are licensed under the GPL so you can use it for any free or commercial project.
Kudos to the folks of Envato and ThemeForest for releasing this FREE WordPress-themed icon sets to the community as well as SoftFacade and Turbomilk for designing the icon sets.
