Hi folks! How are you all doing? How was your weekend? Me, I had a great weekend! My favorite NFL team – the Dallas Cowboys defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 34-14 last Saturday night, finally ending a looong playoff drought. The last time they won a playoff game was back in Dec. 28, 1996. Next week, they’ll be playing against the Minnesota Vikings. Then my 2 fave NBA teams, the Los Angeles Lakers and Cleveland Cavaliers both won against the Milwaukee Bucks and Portland Trailblazers respectively. The best part this past weekend was being able to spend quality time with my family, capped off by an impromptu visit to Universal Studios yesterday. I was happy because my son had fun and really enjoyed the visit and having his photos taken with different cartoon characters like Curious George, Dora & Diego, Sponge Bob, Alex the Lion and the Penguins of Madagascar.

I also monitor and filter what my son watches on TV and I never let him watchh Spongebob or any violent cartoons shows because like you said, these kids imitate what they see on TV.

glad to hear about your weekend with the family. i think all kids like those cartoon characters, but few days ago, I started to sort of ban my son from watching sponge bob – he’s sort of trying to imitate the attitudes in there.
