Weekend Roundup #35

Here’s this weeks edition of the Weekend Roundup. As you can see on JaypeeOnline Weekly Recap, I’ve been quite busy churning out blog posts last week. If you remember one of my blog goals this year is to have 6-7 posts per week. I hope I can keep this up. Anyways, hope you guys enjoy this week’s roundup!

  1. @jan – Oh okay. I’ll take note of that. I haven’t used Blogger/Blogspot in ages so I don’t know how it works and if it has trackbacks too. I think you should read the FAQ or Help section or just Google it. :D

  2. @elmot – Oh I see. Thanks for letting me know about it. What browser were you using when you experienced that problem? Do you remember when this happened? Do you still experience any problems accessing my blog recently?

  3. Everything, I guess. hahaha. Consider it an idiot’s guide to using trackbacks. Does blogger even have one? I notice there’s this Create/Write Link below every post. Is that it? I wonder how that works.

  4. ei jayps. i’ve subscribed to your email already. many times kasi akong nagkakaprob sa pagopen ng blog mo, biglang may lumalabas na error report tapos nagkoclose, kaya many times ay di ko matagal maview ang site mo.

  5. No. 26 in the post 49 tips to become a better blogger says, “If you are stuck with something, 99% of your issues can be fixed using Google.”

Exactly. I have no issue with this. But some tricks I find very tricky and hard to grasp. For example, trackbacks. Can’t wrap my head around that concept.

Can you include this in your future post? I see you’ve got tips and tricks as part of your categories. So it’s not venturing too far afield for you. :)

  6. Your link to how to defend your blogs copyright is a superb post. To my credit, I have read it before I found you made it a part of your roundup. :) I have it bookmarked nga for future use and reference.

  7. @elmot – Aside from the articles around the web, the Weekend Roundup features the posts I’ve published during the week. Another way to not miss posts is by subscribing to my RSS feeds via email. :)

  8. @jan – There’s a lot of new information coming out each day and you can only absorb much. I try to take note of interesting stuff that I come across on the Internet and share it to you guys via this Weekend Roundup feature.

Glad to know that you’ve liked and learned something from this roundup. Makes it worthwhile to keep this weekly feature going. You’re welcome! :)

  9. I used to go right past posts about lots of links. I thought it’s chickening out on actually coming up with an actual post. Now, I’m a believer having had “some” experience blogging myself. Lots of precious stuff out there that may escape our attention if we don’t take note of them right here, right now. And unless we employ several staff writers, we’d be hard pressed to cover these gems at one go.

I particularly love the link to firefox and how to turn it into a blogging machine. It addresses my innermost desires, I guess. :) The same with 49 tips to become a better blogger.

But because it’s past 2am here in the Philippines, I’d start with Blog Seo Tips, to lull me to sleep, pronto. :) Thanks for these mini treasures.

  10. @Gem – You’re welcome! I try to share some link love to Pinoy blogs especially regular readers of JaypeeOnline.

Really? Glad to hear that. Make sure you always check out the Weekend Roundup you just might learn something new each week. :D

  11. Thanks! My blog post got featured here along with other biggies! Woot!

I've checked other resources, and that one with the SSS is still news to me. :-)
