Since the shipping was done via USPS flat rate Priority Mail, it took a week to get here and I received the mug last Friday morning.

I <3 my WordPress mug! The weather’s been quite cold (and getting colder) the past few days so I’ve been using the mug everyday for some coffee and hot choco. I love that the mug is in my favorite color – blue and the mug’s size and weight is just right for me, plus the footed base makes it very sturdy.

Next thing I’ll probably buy from the WordPress Swag Store is a WordPress tshirt. The only WordPress-related clothing I have is the WordCamp Las Vegas shirt I got from attending the event last year. I hope that the WordPress folks would add more products. What I would love to see them have are mouse pads, laptop skins, lanyards and keychains.

Anybody else bought some stuff from the WordPress Swag Store? If you would buy anything from the WordPress Swag Store, what would it be? What other products would you like WordPress to sell? Please share your thoughts.

About three weeks ago, while reading and commenting on Mark Jaquith’s post about WordPress 2.7′s comment moderation keyboard shortcuts, I came across Jonathan’s blog and happened to read his post about WordPress stickers where I found out that Maya Desai of Automattic was giving away WordPress schwag in her WordPress.com blog. The only requirement is to leave a message explaining why you’d like to have some WordPress schwag. I didn’t wait any further, I immediately wrote my message and submitted it. The next day, I got an email from Maya asking me for my mailing address. I sent her my mailing details and a couple days later, here’s what I got:

Wanna know what was inside the package? I got the following stuff:

These items are not available anywhere even in the WordPress Shop.

So what do I plan to do with it? I’ll use some of the stickers and pins myself but most of it I’ll be giving away to friends. I also plan to give some away to the top commentators of this blog for the next few months.

We’ll send your sticker to the moon if the postage is correct. But to answer the question, yes. We are able to send stickers overseas and can report several successful exchanges from Italy, Malaysia and Japan. Not a peep yet from Reykjavik, but we’re cautiously optimistic.

The number of FeedBurner stickers that can fit on the head of a pin is still hotly debated.
