Whenever I get a new gadget or device, one of the first things I do is read the user manual. I don’t know but it has become a habit of mine. Anyways, I did the same thing when I got the Canon EOS Digital Rebel T1i. Aside from reading the basic features and functions, I also check for the requirements and stuff. The Canon EOS Digital Rebel T1i is capable of recording Full HD 1080 video and one of the requirements for this feature is a memory card that has an SD speed class of 6 or higher. Using a card with a slower speed class can cause the movie shooting and playback feature to not work properly.

At that time I only had a 2GB Sandisk Ultra II which I got for my Canon Powershot S3 IS. So I decided to get a memory card that had a faster speed class and at the same time have a bigger capacity. The SanDisk 8GB Extreme SDHC HD Videomemory card was eligible for Amazon Prime so I got the 2-3 day shipping for free. I received the package on time and in perfect condition. The product was brand new and came in a retail packaging, not bulk packaging. As soon as I opened the package, I slipped the memory card on my camera, formatted it and started shooting pictures with it.

If you’re shopping for a memory card for your digital camera or video camcorder, I strongly recommend Amazon.com. They have some of the best deals online and have very cheap prices especially compared to retail stores like Walmart, Target or even BestBuy. Just make sure that you pick the right product and read the reviews first. How’s it goin people? Hope everyone had a good weekend. I know this is very late but I decided to go on and publish it because there a lot of cool stories and articles that I wanted to share plus I wanted to let you guys know why I haven’t done any updates or published new posts in the past few days/weekend. Last week, I was busy doing the church newsletter and had to cram the last couple of days because some of the articles were submitted late and I had to have it printed by Friday in time for the church retreat. The whole weekend I was out with my family attending our church retreat at Oxnard so I was very busy last week and this past weekend.
