• Lenovo doesn’t make cellphones, right? Not anymore. The Lenovo-Chine Mobile Ophone is an Android-powered phone made to comply with China Mobile’s Open Mobile System. Too bad only the folks in China will be able to use this thing of beauty.
• One of Dell’s latest products is the Optiplex 160 aka Tiny Desktop Computer is really tiny. Measuring only 1.85 inches thick, it runs on a single-core Intel Atom processor, 80 GB HDD, 1 GB RAM, Windows Vista Home. Dual core models ship next year.
• Maximum PC has a hands-on review of Logitech’s latest gaming keyboard or gameboard called the Logitech G13 gameboard. Features include a mini LCD, mouse buttons and an analog stick. It can store (bind) 87 different macros on it which is nice for MMO fanatics.
• There’s a new Eee box in town! Asus recently rolled out the Asus Eee Box B203, an Intel C220 Celeron-powered Eee netbox. It runs Windows XP Home, comes with 80GB, 120GB or 160 GB hard drive, 4 USB ports, flash card reader, DVI output, WiFi and Ethernet connectivity.

I didn’t hesitate or have second thoughts about buying it. What I liked about this particular model is that it wasn’t too fancy, it had a nice ergonomic design and it was just exactly what I needed. It boasts a battery life of 1 year which I don’t believe will happen in my case considering the number of hours I use it. But still, I like the fact that it’s energy efficient. The mouse wheel has what is called a “tilt wheel” function which is used for horizontal scrolling. Another thing I like is that Logitech also provides the batteries. The Logitech V450 Cordless Laser Mouse works with both PC or Mac and in my case where I’m using Windows Vista, I didn’t have to install the drivers as it was automatically detected by the system. It was basically plug-n-play. So as soon as I inserted the receiver, I was able to use it right away. I feel very comfortable using it and it’s just the right size and shape for my hand.

I just checked Buy.com’s product page for this model and saw that they’re selling back at the regular retail price. Btw, Logitech has this model in all black color which looks even better. I would’ve gotten that one but it wasn’t available at that time.
