Hi folks! Welcome to the 113th edition of the Weekend Roundup. I wasn’t able to publish it earlier than I wanted to but nevertheless it’s still on time and not late like last week’s edition. BloggingPro’s Visual Guide to SEO

Ever come across the term SEO while surfing the web or browsing through blogs? Do you know what SEO is? I’m guessing most of you don’t. SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. Although it is widely used in the Internet, many people even bloggers are still not familiar with what SEO is and/or how it works.

According to Wikipedia:

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the visibility of a web site or a web page in search engines via the “natural” or un-paid (“organic” or “algorithmic”) search results.

We won’t go into further details about SEO because it’s a long and hard topic to discuss but I’d just like to share with you something I came across the other day.

To help us better understand SEO and Social Media Marketing, the folks over at BloggingPro have created an infographic called “A Visual Guide to SEO” and shared it on their post entitled “The Complete Guide to Search Engine and Social Media Marketing“. This infographic covers the basics of SEO and also explains the different components of search engine optimization like link infrastructure, keywords, social media campaigns, PPC and linkbaits.

I hope this infographic provided by BloggingPro has helped you get a better understanding of SEO or Search Engine Optimization and maybe even help you with your website or blog SEO campaigns. Good day to everyone! Hope you all had a good weekend. The past weekend was quite busy for me. Been occupied with personal stuff and spent most of my time at home. I also wasn’t able to play basketball yesterday so I’ll have to find a way to play, hopefully on Friday. Talking about basketball, can’t wait for the NBA Finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics. The greatest rivalry in the NBA will be renewed on Thursday. You all know who I’m rooting for and I really hope the Lakers win not only to get another championship but to avenge their loss to the Celtics in the 2008 Finals. Lakers in 6?
