Real Warriors - Viloria vs. Aguirre
6 Comments February 18, 2006 2533 Views

Tomorrow, February 19, 2006, Brian Viloria will have his first title defense against Jose Antonio Aguirre of Tabasco, Mexico at the Aladdin Hotel-Casino in Las Vegas.
Their match is part of the “Real Warriors” pay-per-view card which includes fighters Antonio Margarito fighting, Manuel ‘Shot Gun’ Gomez of Laredo, Texas,Ivan ‘Iron Boy’ Calderon of Puerto Rico and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. of Culiacan, Mexico.
Brian who is known as the “Hawaiian Punch” is proud of his heritage, proud to be a Filipino. His stunning knockout of Eric Ortiz in just the first round, is considered as the knockout of the year for 2005. Brian became an instant star for boxing fans around the world, particularly the Hawaiians and Filipinos.

His opponent, Jose Antonio Aguirre boasts a record of (33-4-1, 20 KOs). While Viloria has a record of (18-0, 12 KOs). Based on his record, Aguirre is a seasoned fighter and quite a good one at that. 20 KOs in 33 bouts is a very good accomplishment so Viloria would have to be in hist best condition and not take his opponent lightly in order for him to win. But based on his previous fights and his attitude, I know that Viloria would be ready for this bout.
Let us continue to pray and support our fellow Filipino, Brian Viloria.

This fight is gonna be off the hook. Go islanders!!!
Yeah, I can’t wait for the match to start. It’s shown a bit delayed here in the Philippines.
and viloria won on the 12th round hehehe
di pa pinapalabas yung laban alam na namin ung results last sunday
thanks to fightnews.com
hahaha
i wasn’t that impressed with Viloria’s performance last Sunday. maybe because i was expecting a knockout. we should also give credit to his opponent, Jose Antonio Aguirre who fought hard and withstood Viloria’s hard punches. yeah, i know. i could have gotten the fight results ealier if i wanted to, but i want to watch the match and see how it unfolds myself.
my brother just cannot wait it for the tv
i was not asking him and then he blurted out. “viloria won at the 12th round” haha
didn’t warned him that there should be no spoilers
really? i would be irritated if that happened to me. i always tell the people at home not to tell me the outcome of whatever game i want to watch. i want to see it for myself. hehe
