Tito Ortiz vs. Ken Shamrock back for the third time.
I’m not really an avid fan of mixed martial arts or of the UFC. I don’t get to watch most of the good fights coz it’s on PPV. But if I can, I do spend time to watch matches when they’re as good as this.
For those who know their UFC, the Ortiz – Shamrock rivalry is one of the most intense rivalries in the UFC. It’s not a scripted thing like the ones you see on WWE or TNT wrestling. They both really hate each other. Their previous match was shortlived and many of the fans were disappointed about it. So this time, UFC will air this match for free at Spike TV. This time, I hope that they would have a well fought match. Something that the fans and viewers are expecting from these two great athletes.
The promoters of this match has dubbed it as the Final Chapter. Who do you think will win, Tito Ortiz or Ken Shamrock? We’ll have to see if it would really be the last. Strange things could happen that would start something new.

@dave – Probably. but with MMA, the fighters don't wear gloves and some of them get hit in the head real hard several times until the ref stops the fight. Yeah, overall MMA is way worse coz it not only uses punches but also knee strikes and kicks.

Yea, I agree. Boxing is probably worse on your skull over time but MMA is way worse over all.

@db cooper – we all have our own preferences and it may not be brutal for you. but to say that boxing is more brutal than MMA? i don't think so.
@trench – hehe..yeah and it was expected. no way was he gonna defeat Tito. i agree with what you say about Shamrock's humility and for what he did. he was a sport and gentleman when he approached Tito and asked him to end the rivalry. the ending to the rivalry was a good one. can't wait to see the match against the Iceman.

shamrock got decked via GNP again……… Whats new….. lol. I respect Sham for being humble about the loss and squashing the rivalry. Tito has grown to a man. He actually hugged sham and the rest is history… Now for the ICEMAN!

MMA is the greatest sport in the world.. The sport isn't as brutal as boxing. And as for this fight, I would really like to see Shammy pull off a win, although it's unlikely.

@trench – MMA is cool but the wife thinks it's too brutal. hehe. so i have to watch it by myself. what you said is true. however, while they have this rivalry, i'd wanna see what happens. hopefully, this would be the last.

I watch MMA like its going out of style… This again? bleh! Twice is enough.. Sham got his arse beatdown both times.. we need someone new and younger to fight Tito.
