Online Backup - iDrive-E

Backups are very important. I should know coz I lost my blog posts and other important data twice after my free web host was hacked. To make things worse, I didn’t have any backup at all so I lost all my posts and had to start from scratch.
I’ve learned my lesson after those bitter experiences and now, I make sure that I have not only one but several backups of all important data and stuff. In my case, I have my scheduled backups sent to my email address and I also download it directly into my computer. Another option is to have an online backup service where you can keep copies of your backup.
If you’re looking for a fast, secure and easy to use online backup service, try iDrive-E. They offer an iDrive-E Basic plan that has 2 GB of storage space without any file type restrictions or bandwidth limitations. There’s also an option to upgrade to the IDrive-E Pro version that has unlimited storage space for a low monthly fee of only $4.95. iDrive-E is user-friendly, fast and secure.
One of the things that makes iDrive-E better than other online backup services is it’s user-intuitive backup applications. It’s so easy to use that all the user needs to do is download and install the application then start using it to make your scheduled backups.
You can easily do your backups remotely with simple, uncomplicated scheduling procedures. Restoring backups and files is easyily done drag n drop style with the help of a Windows Explorer like interface. Backups are done fast and efficiently by compressing data during transmission. You can also directly add your files or folders to your iDrive-E backup set. Worried about security? iDrive-E takes care of that through 128-bit SSL encryption for transfers and 256-bit AES encryption for storage. Data security is enhanced with a user defined encryption key.
So what are you waiting for? Don’t make the same mistakes that I made. Make sure you backup all your files and if possible have an online backup.

I think I need to give the free service a whirl. I have tried a myriad of backup schemes and have had success with a lot of them. I recently came across idrive through another blog. I think as internet speeds increase these types of backups are really going to catch on. It’s sooo convenient!
@paul - True and that’s what a lot of people and businesses look for today, a secure and convenient way of backing up important documents and data.
Great info in case something ever goes wrong with my 500 year old PC. Thanks for sharing. Right now I just backup to my FTP server though.
