Most of the time, when you delete a file from your computer you do it because you no longer need it or have any use for it. And then there are also incidents where you accidentally delete files and would want to recover them. In a normal computer setup, as soon as a file gets deleted and the trash can has been cleared, that’s it. There’s no way to recover deleted files.

Nowadays, this is no longer an issue thanks to data recovery software. One particular product is called Handy Recovery. What this program does is recover deleted files and restore them back for you to use.

Handy Recovery supports FAT 12/16/32, NTFS and NTFS 5 + EFS file systems. Currently, Handy Recovery only works with Microsoft Windows 9x/Me/NT/2000/XP/2003/Vista operating systems.

Handy Recovery enables the user to recover deleted files from disk partitions that have already been deleted or formatted. It can also create disk images which is used for deferred recovery. Other features of Handy Recovery include in-depth disk scanning and file filtering using the file name, mask, date and size attributes. With Handy Recovery, you can also perform image recovery from your CompactFlash, SmartMedia, MultiMedia or Secure Digital memory cards.

Need to recover and restore deleted files? Try out Handy Recovery free for 30 days!

@mr nice ash – I wasn’t that proficient with computers in the pre-Pentium era. I had computer lessons in highschool but I wasn’t too interested with it then. Thanks for sharing! :D
