@jireh – Hello! I don’t know if you classify blogs according to their content or what CMS they use. Since your posts are quite long and contains lots of stuff, I guess your blog is still a traditional blog. :)

@jhay – Yeah, I think that’s how it is, a separate blog just for your asides and sideblog stuff. Just like I told ade, a sideblog or asides is enough if you have a traditional blog.

I guess that hierarchy is true for now. Until another blog format comes in. :D

@K – It’s better to have one or few blogs and maintain them regularly, rather than having several and neglect most of them. I’m guilty of that. I never update my blog over at Wordpress.com and Vox. :D

Wordpress.com is enough for me. I had several blogs now and I just couldn’t make use of it after a few months. I use multiply, daria.be, vox and another tagalog blog from wordpress. I think that’s already too much, don’t you think?

Heard of this before but never really took time to look into it.

My take is, it’s the “asides” or “sideblog” category given its own blog or put in the center stage. I can see a hierarchy of the blogosphere: traditional blogs>>tumbleblogs>>twitter. :D
