ServInt Doubles RAM for VPS Customers

When you own a website or blog, one of the challenges is finding a reliable hosting provider that can provide good server specs, competent customer & tech support. I’ve been with my hosting provider – ServInt for 4 years now and I can honestly say that I’ve been very satisfied with their service and customer support.

I received some good news from them yesterday via email. Reed Caldwell, CEO of ServInt announced that starting October 23rd, they’ll be doubling the amount of RAM for all their Essential VPS, Essential+ VPS, Signature VPS and Ultimate VPS packages. This upgrade is not only available to new customers but is also extended to current ServInt customers like myself at no extra cost.

Below is the list of server packages that received the upgrades and specs:

Essential VPS
60 GB Storage
1 TB Monthly Transfer
1.5 GB Guaranteed RAM (previously 768MB)
$49/month

Essential+ VPS
65 GB Storage
1 TB Monthly Transfer
2 GB Guaranteed RAM UPGRADED (previously 1GB)
$59/month

Signature VPS
90 GB Storage
1.5 TB Monthly Transfer
4 GB Guaranteed RAM UPGRADED (previously 2GB)
$89/month

Ultimate VPS
120 GB Storage
2 TB Monthly Transfer
6 GB Guaranteed RAM UPGRADED (previously 3GB)
$129/month

All VPS packages come with the following additional specs:

  • Hardware RAID 10
  • 4 IP Addresses
  • FREE cPanel/WHM
  • FREE Daily Off-Server Backups
  • CentOS 5 or 6, Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
  • 32 bit or 64 bit versions
  • Incredibly fast disk I/O
  • Unlimited Domains and User Accounts

As an existing customer, I was very glad to find out about the upgrades and hear the reasons behind why ServInt did it – to keep current customers happy and as an initial step towards a new and revolutionary platform enhancement that’s coming soon. I’m not sure what that revolutionary platform enhancement is, but it sure sounds awesome and promising.

Previously, I was on the Signature VPS package but right now in the Essential+ VPS package and so far, it’s more than enough for the amount of traffic I get.

I’ve had experience with several hosting providers in the past – 1&1, GoDaddy, DreamHost, and Media Temple but I can tell you that ServInt by far has provided me with the best service and customer support. In the 4 years that I’ve been with them, their support representatives are always friendly and helpful, while their technicians/experts are very competent, knowledgeable and would go an extra mile to help me out with some stuff that is not really part of my hosting account like helping me figure out the issues I had while testing the MonstaFTP app on my server.

If you’re currently on a shared hosting plan and on the lookout for a good and reliable hosting provider for VPS or Dedicated hosting, I recommend you to try out ServInt.
