I’m Feeling Lucky

I’m sure most of you guys use Google as your search engine, but how many of you actually use or have used the “I’m Feeling Lucky” option? This option bypasses other results and goes directly to the first web page returned for your query.

Google I’m Feeling Lucky according to Wikipedia:

Google’s homepage includes a button labeled “I’m Feeling Lucky”. Prior to a change in 2012, when a user typed in a search and clicked on the button the user would be taken directly to the first search result, bypassing the search engine results page. The idea was that if a user is “feeling lucky”, the search engine would return the perfect match the first time without having to page through the search results.

Try this, go to Google’s main page, type in the word “Pekeng Pangulo” (meaning Fake President in Tagalog) without the quotation marks and then click on “I’m Feeling Lucky” and see what the result is. I dunno if you’ve heard of this or tried this but I found out about this just today when a friend of mine shared it with me. Anyways, this is in no way a propaganda against the current President or her administration. This is just a prank made by somebody.

Btw, here are other keywords that you might want to try using the “I’m Feeling Lucky” button.

– “failure” or “miserable failure”
– “worst president”
– “George W. Bush’s dubious friends”
– “moron”
– “mass destruction”
– “elgoog” (Google written backwards)
– “french military victories” (then click on the result given by Google)
– “elmer fudd”

Have you tried the I’m Feeling Lucky button on the Google Search homepage? Which of the keywords listed above did you try? If you know any other keywords, please share it with us by leaving a comment below.
