Those who know me well, know that one of the things I like to buy are shoes. Here are some pairs of shoes that I would love to get my hands on and a must-have for any die hard Transformers fan.

Nike Free 7.0 – Convoy

Nike Free 7.0 – Megatron
If you notice, both characters wear the same pair of sneakers that they transform into.
I found out about these transforming Nike shoes from my wife who received it via e-mail. A standard edition costs $58.99 while a collector’s grade costs an extra four dollars.
Next is a pair of Nike Air Trainer III’s which was featured in Footurama. It’s not known whether it will be made available to the public or not.

Any die-hard Transformers fan would be drooling by now. I’m not exactly sure where you can buy them but I think some are being sold online at eBay. So, would you buy a pair of these sneakers?

@K – Yeah and all because of the Transformers movie. Some people buy the toys for their kids while some buy it for their toy collection.
You don’t or never wore sport shoes? :D

Looks like everyone’s having robot fever these days. This reminds me of those people queuing up at McDonalds for several hours just to get a silly Snoopy toys give aways for a set of meal. Amusing.
I don’t wear sport shoes so I think I’ll skip to this.

Wow! Too bad I bought my Nike Free 7.0 just this summer. I wonder if it will transform too… (goes out and checks his shoes)

@dimaks – Didn’t know you had a son. Btw, if it was me and I had this sneakers, I’d keep them in a special case or cabinet. Hehe :D

@trench – I also like wearing white sneakers like you. If ever I get a pair of these Transformers sneakers, I’m not gonna wear them. It’s just for display. Hehe :D

not a big fan of those shoes. I wear almost exclusively white shoes. Classic K-swiss, White AF ONES, and white NB’s for running.
Those look a little out of this world for me. haha

@Major Tom – Yeah, it’s not so expensive especially if your a collector or a Transformers fan right? The transforming shoes are said to be available to the public but I’m not sure where. It’s still unknown whether the third pair would be sold to the public or not.

This is so cool and at 70$ (bout 4,000 pesos) it should be a real steal. I wonder if it be available on regular store racks.

@Ade – I’m not sure about the first two pairs. From the way I look at it, I don’t think you can wear them but again, I could be wrong. You can definitely wear the third one. :)

I want those. Can you actually wear them though? :P

@jhay – Not all Transformers fans are geeks, right? :D
