@kates - If I'm not mistaken that's the one that attaches directly to the dock connector and doesn't have any wires right? Did you buy it online or from a store there?

Btw, what's the model name of the iTrip that you got for your wife? They have several versions of the iTrip so it's a bit confusing. Yeah, signal is quite weak but I can live with it coz I don't really use it for long periods of time. The quality is like the songs played on the radio so its good enough for me. :D
