When I first blogged about the 2007 Philippine Blog Awards, I did it to help promote the event. I had no idea that my blog would eventually be a part of it.
As soon as the nomination period started, I frequented the site and kept track of all the updates. I was happy to see my blogger friends on the list. Even if my blog wasn’t on the list I wasn’t disappointed coz I wasn’t even expecting JaypeeOnline to be nominated. Then a few days later, much to my surprise, I saw that I was nominated for the Technology category. I felt happy and honored to make it on that list.
Earlier today, I was even more surprised to know that my blog is one of the finalists! I wasn’t aware of it until Benj mentioned it in his comment. Then later on, other peeps like Ron, Fruityoaty, Tess and Joni also left comments congratulating me.
And for that person who nominated JaypeeOnline, whoever you are, thank you very much for taking time to nominate my blog. If you didn’t nominate my blog, it wouldn’t be in the finals. Heck, it wouldn’t even be in there at all. It would be better if you can let me know who you are so I can thank you personally. You can leave a comment here or if you want to keep it private, you can use the Contact page.

Call me bad/naughty, but I think that the award should go to you. Yours is the most interesting, visitor-friendly/interactive tech blog among the finalists. My take, of course. As one of the constant lurkers and feed subscribers, lol.

Hey Jaypee! Again, congrats. You are totally deserving of being in the finals and (not to take away the accomplishments of the other finalists), I think you should win your category! Simply because, since having stumbled upon your site through random blog hopping, I’ve actually read a few posts in your blog THAT ACTUALLY helped me to troubleshoot my WordPress problems as well as learning about new stuff that I didn’t know. That’s gold to me (saving time).
Anyway, keep on rockin’. L8tr days. :D
