Celebrity Look-aLikes

I’ve seen this before in some of the blogs that I regularly visit and I wasn’t really interested in doing it. I also wasn’t sure on how accurate it was.
A couple days ago, while I was trying to think of something to blog about, I saw that Trench posted about this celebrity look-alike thing. I decided to give it a try and see if it does work and if it’s accurate. So I uploaded the most recent photograph of myself and did the test. I don’t wanna comment but just take a look at the results of my face recognition test. You be the judge.
I don’t think I look like any of these guys. It’s totally unfair for them. Hehe. Anyways, for the female version, the closest match that I got was Pamela Anderson.
If you wanna give it a try, click here.

Ricky Martin? hehe.. I think they go by bone structure or something. Eyes, and lips.
tried this as well. my friends and I think that they just base their comparison on the:
1. face angle
2. hair
3. eyes
Hehe.. Dunno if it’s accurate. But it’s fun trying it out especially with friends. We all had a good laugh.
Yup, the software takes a wire-frame version of of your face based on the photo you give and it will try to match the resulting pattern to its database of celebrities. Quite neat really. I think this technology is being used to screen passengers in some airports in Europe and America as part of their anti-terror measures.
But dang! Ricky Martin eh!
I did this once, and it says I look like Boa (the asian singer) and Penelope Cruz hehehe
@trench - livin la vida loca? hehe
@joni - well, they do ask you to submit a photo that’s facing front so it would be more accurate. yup, it was fun doing it.
@jhay - cool software! yeah, i think government agencies now use this in the fight against crime and terrorism. actually, it’s a tie between Ricky Martin and Gareth Gates. hehe
@dre - you should have posted it in your blog.
hi jaypee!
I added you to my blogroll na.
I’ll come back here as often as i can. Nice to see a number of ilonggo bloggers on the web!
@joni - thanks! i’ve added you to my blogroll as well.

My younger sis is recommending My Heritage to me but I was not interested.
I would agree with the result. You have resemblance with Peter Andre and Ricky Martin. Naks.
By the way, I moved my blog to http://blog.jammedph.com. Paki-change yung link ko. Thanks.
I bet the closest match of female celebrity for me would be paris hilton.. hehe..
@ash - yeah, it’s cool. you should try it.
@gbert - i don’t look any bit like him. kaw ya ang tisoyon, damo fans sa usls. hehe
@jam - oh common! it’s not fair for peter andre and ricky martin. btw, i’ve updated your link already.
@jim - paris hilton? and why would it be her? hehe
I think they only base on what you are posing…if ure looking riyt..they pared it ryt.WTF!
@oyo - Probably but from what I know, they use face recognition software and use different aspects of the persons face for comparison then match it with what they have on their database.
