Here are some of the photos that I took last night during the Clippers - Heat game at the Staples Center. I came home late so I wasn’t able to upload them right away. Please bear with the photos coz they’re not really that good. Most of the time, the subjects were moving and my camera doesn’t have much of a zoom.
Moi in front of Staples Center…

I’m leaving in a few hours to go and watch the Clippers - Heat game at the Staples Center. This is one of the things that I wasn’t able to do when I came here in 2004. I came in July so the season was already over. This time, it’s for real! The game starts at 7 pm but we’re leaving early to give allowance for the traffic.
Btw, did I mention that I have courtside …

Pacquiao floors Morales in the 3rd round
I knew Manny Pacquiao was gonna win. I just didn’t expect it to be that fast. I expected this match to go the full 12 rounds or atleast the 10th round. I was also thinking it could end via scorecards. Like Pacquiao, I had respect for Erik Morales. He is no ordinary boxer and I expected him to come out with a better fight …

A few more days to go. I can’t wait! I’m too excited to see this match. I still don’t know where I’m gonna watch it coz here in the US, you either watch it live in Vegas or watch it thru PPV. It kinda sucks coz in the Philippines, I could watch it for free even though it’s a bit delayed.

Tito Ortiz vs. Ken Shamrock back for the third time.
I’m not really an avid fan of mixed martial arts or of the UFC. I don’t get to watch most of the good fights coz it’s on PPV. But if I can, I do spend time to watch matches when they’re as good as this.
For those who know their UFC, the Ortiz - Shamrock rivalry is one …

But the one that caught my attention was the Best Moment award.

The Italians celebrating their 2-0 win over Germany.
Yesterday, Italy defeated host country Germany 2 to nothing. Italy scored in overtime with goals from Fabio Grosso in the 119th minute and Alessandro Del Piero in the 121st minute. Italy had to defeat Germany in overtime and could not afford to have a penalty shootout with the Germans who are unbeaten in previous matches that involved a penalty shootout. The Italians out-hassled the Germans in the final minutes and made two well executed attacks that led to goals.
