I’ve Joined the BlogRush

blogrush

I’ve just joined BlogRush, a recently launched blog syndication network.

What is BlogRush?

BlogRush is a “Cooperative Syndication Network” that rewards its users for their contributions to the network — from the impressions they provide of the BlogRush Widget to the referral of other users through 10 ‘generations’ of activity and the impressions of the widget that they provide. BlogRush was designed to be incredibly viral and to provide its users with tremendous distribution leverage to receive exposure for their blog content (onto related content blogs) that they could never achieve on their own; at least without a massive advertising budget.

How does it work?

BlogRush users earn “syndication credits” (the right to have their blog post titles shown inside a widget on another related blog) based on their own traffic (loads of the widget) as well as the traffic of other users they refer to BlogRush. Users can automatically refer others to join via special links on the widget, as well as through the promotion of a special referral URL they are given.

To make it short and simple, this new blog syndication network helps bloggers get more traffic and readers for their blogs for FREE! It’s like a multi-level marketing scheme for bloggers. The more traffic your blog has + the more people you refer to it = more traffic and readers you get for your blog. Btw, once you sign-up and join, you’ll have to add a piece of code to display the widget. You can see it in action on my sidebar.

It sounds really promising and the idea of getting more traffic and readers is too much to resist so I’m gonna try it out and see if it works. Why don’t you give it a try yourself. It’s totally free so you have nothing to lose. If you’ve already joined Blogrush, I’d love to hear your opinion. Does it work for you or not?

Join the BlogRush now!

So what do you guys think about it? Anyone else joined this new cooperative syndication network? Please share your thoughts by leaving a comment below.

  1. @Culture Shiok – If not for the issue with Adsense TOS, I wouldn’t remove the widget. I wanna try it out especially after reading Darren Rowse and Manuel Viloria’s posts about BlogRush. I wanted to give it a try for a few days and see what it can benefit my blog. :)

  2. @Thess – Welcome to my blog and thanks for the compliment! If you want to check if you’ve already signed up with them, just try to sign up again using your email address. It will know whether that address has already signed up or not.

Btw, if you’re still interested to join BlogRush, go ahead and try it but just to let you know, I’ve already removed their widget from my sidebar. Reason? It doesn’t benefit my blog and it might be considered as a violation to Adsense’ TOS.

    Thanks for dropping by! :)

  3. Hello Jaypee! It’s my first time in your impressive and informative blog.
I think I was invited by iRonnie to join this blog rush and I couldn’t remember if I’ve already signed up (that’s how a newbie I am still with things like this)
but I will follow your move about this because I really need to be careful with what I place on my blogs…and thanks!

    regards from Holland.

  4. @benj – Yeah, kinda like Blog Mad and Blog Explosion. I signed up just to try it out for a few days. Anyways, I’m gonna remove it soon coz I think that it’s not worth it. Blogs with very high traffic are the only ones who’ll benefit from it.

Btw, it’s good to see you back here. Long time no see! Hehe :D

  5. @Karlo – Yeah, you’re right. Not only that but it will only benefit blogs that have high traffic since their feeds will be the ones that would be displayed and for those who don’t have high traffic, they have a very slim chance of getting their feeds displayed in other blogs. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! :)

  6. @jhay – Yeah, I saw it on your blog and later when I checked back it was no longer there. I was gonna ask you why you removed the widget but you weren’t online.

I won’t mind if BlogRush gets the most out of this deal as long as I get more traffic and readers for my blog but if it violates Adsense’ TOS, then that’s something else and something I won’t gamble with. Thanks for the heads up! :)

  7. I joined it a few days ago but removed it yesterday from my blog.

According to Alister Cameron, it’s more like a Multi-level marketing scheme where BlogRush is the winner and not us bloggers.

Plus, I also read somewhere that this service generates traffic that could be in violation of Google AdSense’ TOS.
