The first pair of Nike Air shoes that I saw when I was a kid was the Nike Air Max I back in 1987. The technology and the concept was still new at that time and stuff like that weren’t common especially in the Philippines. I was amazed with it – the design, the technology. I was curious and wanted to know what it was made of and how it worked. I’m sure most of you guys also had the same experience as I did and wondered how the Air

Here’s a funny video entitled “The Secret Behind Nike Air” which is supposed to reveal the secret behind the “Air” in the Nike Air Cushioning technology. The video features professional athletes like Troy Polamalu of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Tennis legend John McEnroe, NBA star Brandon Roy, Pro skater Paul Rodriguez aka P-Rod, Track star Sanya Richards and last but not least, Tennis beauty Maria Sharapova. Check it out!

I wonder why Nike didn’t include some of their bigger stars like Kobe Bryant or Lebron James, Tiger Woods and even Manny Pacquiao. If they make a sequel to this video, I’d love to see these stars on it.
