10. June 2007

Fluidity is the most recent Wordpress theme created by my friend and kababayan* Beng Hafner. It’s the second free Wordpress theme she’s released this year and I’m sure it won’t be the last.

I’ve always been an avid fan of Beng Hafner’s work. I always admired the designs of her personal blog and also the free Wordpress themes that she has created. It’s amazing how she finds the time to create this beautiful …

For those who are regular visitors and readers, I’m sure you’re familiar with my Pimp My Dashboard series. When I first started it I didn’t expect to have more than three parts. However, as I was surfing the web I found other Wordpress admin themes that I haven’t seen or heard before. So I’m continuing the series and will be featuring new admin themes.

Today, I’ll be featuring the WordTunes Terminal admin theme from …

It was first released in North America in December of 2006 and since then have sold 2,745,980+ units as of May 5, 2007. The Nintendo Wii is not your usual game console as it uses a wireless remote that connects to the console via bluetooth as a controller to play games. It also targets a wider demographic …

Subscribing to RSS or Atom feeds is easy with Firefox or Flock as your browser because you can use Firefox’s Live Bookmarks or Flock’s integrated news aggregator without having to install a third-party news aggregrator. When subscribing to new blog feeds and managing my subscribed feeds, I use Sage, a lightweight, offline RSS and Atom feed reader extension for Mozilla Firefox.

What I like about Sage is …

Good news for Mac fans and users! There’s a new program that can help you “pimp” out your pictures and images for your web albums, web sites or blogs. It’s called Picturesque, a new application from Acqualia that is designed to make images look gorgeous on the web.

What’s with the name? Picturesque is defined by Dictionary.com as “visually charming or quaint”. Just from the definition of it’s name alone, you know …

Several days ago, I got 500 Internal Server errors while trying to access my blog and Wordpress admin panel so I immediately I sent a ticket to Dreamhost’s support staff. Right after that, I accessed Dreamhost’s status page to check if there were known issues or problems with the servers or hosting in general. In a recent post, I read one person mention something about a FTP password security breach in Dreamhost. I totally …

Adsense just recently announced that they have updated their program policies.

We’re now requiring AdSense publishers to comply with the spirit of our Page Quality Guidelines. If you’re an AdWords advertiser, you might already be familiar with these guidelines, which are intended to provide a better experience for users, advertisers, and publishers alike. If you use any kind of online advertising, know that these guidelines encourage publishers to, among other things, create sites with simple navigation …

Windows Language Bar

One of the most annoying features in Windows XP is the Language bar. You usually see it after you do a fresh install on a computer. It’s annoying because most users don’t use it or need it but it uses up space in the task bar. Also, it was easy to temporarily disable it but most users don’t know how to permanently remove or disable it. Before I …

WP Theme Review: Deliciously Blue

3. June 2007

Deliciously Blue is a 2 column, widget-ready Wordpress theme from my friend J David Macor.

I have finally done it! For a long time now, I have been meaning to take my “Deliciously Blue” XHTML template and convert it into a Wordpress theme. Not only was it my favorite template, but it has had well over 20,000 downloads, so some other people must have liked it as well. So at long last, I have made …

In my previous posts, I featured free video editing software for Windows, Mac and Linux. I also came up with a list of free audio editing software. In the olden days, video and audio editing were only done exclusively by professionals with expensive and sophisticated equipment in their modern studios. As technology started to advance and stuff like computers went to a personal level, more people were able to do video and audio editing …
